1. What’s included in the space?
The Cove is a simple, flexible space designed to adapt to how you want to use it.
Included in your booking:
Minimal, moveable furniture
Tea, coffee, and water (inc cups etc)
Fridge access
Cleaning products
Bathroom
Wifi
Aircon/heating
If you have specific layout or furniture requirements, please contact us and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
2. How does booking work?
Bookings are made online and charged by the hour, with a minimum hire period.
Your booking time includes both set up and pack down, so please make sure you allow enough time for your session.
3. Can I arrive early or stay later than my booking?
No, access is only available during your booked time.
We don’t allow buffer time between bookings, so another session may begin immediately after yours.
4. What do I need to do before leaving?
Please leave the space exactly as you found it:
Clean and tidy
Furniture returned to its original layout (unless agreed otherwise)
All belongings removed
Turn Air con off
Turn lights off
Keys back in Keybox
Small waste can go in the bins provided, but anything larger should be taken with you.
5. What happens if something gets damaged?
If anything is damaged or broken during your session, please let us know as soon as possible.
We may need to charge for repair or replacement where appropriate.
6. Can I use candles or bring my own equipment?
Yes, but safety is your responsibility.
Please ensure any candles or equipment are used safely and never left unattended.
7. How do you handle my personal data?
We only collect the information we need to manage bookings and communicate with you.
Your data is handled securely and in line with GDPR and Portuguese law, and we never sell or share your information for marketing without your consent.
8. How can I make a complaint?
We always aim to make The Cove a great experience, but if something isn’t right, please contact us directly so we can resolve it quickly.
In line with Portuguese law, we also provide access to the official complaints system (“Livro de Reclamações”) upon request.
